Composed by four nationalities (Croatia, Poland, Belgium, France) which contribute to the wealth of the group, the Cordis quartet devotes with passion at this demanding speciality since its creation in 2008. Graduates of Royal Conservatory of Brussels, they regularly work with Guy Danel, professor of chamber music and also receive education from the quartet Danel, viola players as Ervin Schiffer, Vladimir Bukac, and Paul de Clerck during masters classes. They also studied under the guidance of the Artemis Quartet at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music. The group was warmly welcomed during various concerts given in Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland. In the aim to share their passion for this strict discipline, it is with the same heart ("coeur" in French and "Cordis" in Latin) that these four young musicians play various repertories, from great Masters as Haydn, Beethoven, Bartok up to current musicians.
